Sean has over 25 years of experience in site/civil engineering and site construction and oversees all of the DDS Companies. Mr. Donohoe started DDS Constructors and DDS Engineers in 2001 and with the addition of DDS Utilities in 2006, has led The DDS Companies to become one of the fastest growing organizations in Rochester, NY. Under Mr. Donohoe’s leadership and vision, the DDS family of companies has grown to a staff of over 300 people in the past 10 years and is poised to continue this growth through geographic expansion throughout the northeast.
Sean is a licensed Professional Engineer in New York and Pennsylvania, and holds a degree in Civil Engineering from Clarkson University.
Brian has over 20 years of experience in the planning, design and management of commercial and residential developments. In addition to his management responsibilities within the company for clients, projects, and staff, he has specific skills in land planning, civil/site design, stormwater management design, SEQRA process, and overall permitting for local, county, state, and federal agencies.
Earl has over 35 years of experience in outside utility construction. His projects have included underground gas, electric, and telecommunications projects throughout western New York. He is responsible for managing the team of people in our Utilities division. Earl’s construction career began right out of high school as a laborer for a utility construction company, and has advanced throughout the years into management, having held every position along the way.
Todd has over 20 years of experience in the heavy civil and utility construction arena, managing projects up to 20 million dollars in size. He is responsible for managing the daily operations as well as the team of construction project managers and estimators in the Construction division.
Todd holds a degree in Architecture and Construction Management from Alfred University.
Jim has over 23 years of experience in finance, accounting, business planning, and business operations. As the Chief Financial Officer of The DDS Companies, Jim is involved in all day-to-day financial aspects of the company, working in conjunction with the leadership team. Jim’s focus is on the financial performance and excellence of the business and he ensures that operational processes and procedures are in place to support the needs of our clients. Jim began his career as a consultant for Pricewaterhouse Coopers, an international audit, tax, and consulting firm. After PricewaterhouseCoopers, Jim spent time in the telecommunications, energy, and construction industries where he held various management positions in both finance and business operations.
Jim holds a Bachelors of Science degree in Accounting from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, New York. Additionally, Jim earned his professional certification as a Certified Public Account (CPA) from the State of New York.
Tom has nearly 20 years of experience in environmental construction. His experience includes managing projects related to brownfield redevelopment, emergency spill response, hazardous and non-hazardous waste removal and disposal, remediation of soil, groundwater and subsurface vapors, and underground storage tank (UST) removal and disposal. He is responsible for managing the daily operations of the DDS Environmental Construction Division.
With nearly 15 years of experience in natural gas construction & management, Jeremy was named General Manager of DDS Utilities, Inc. in 2013. Jeremy is responsible for managing the overall operations of the utility division including, managing construction contracts with NYSEG, RG&E, National Grid and Corning Natural Gas. His experience includes design, estimating, management, and field operations of utility projects throughout New York State.
Jeremy studied Business at Cayuga Community College, and also attended SUNY Cortland studying Sports Management.
In 2012, Mark was appointed Vice President and General Counsel at the DDS Companies. Mark is responsible for all DDS legal affairs as well as strategic project development related to mid-stream shale gas markets.
From 2005 to 2012, Mark served in a number of key management positions for Talisman Energy USA, Inc., a leading Marcellus and Eagle Ford Shale natural gas exploration and production company. In addition to his work at Talisman, Mark was also appointed by his industry peers as Chairman of ANGA-Appalachia; a group comprised of large natural gas producers in PA, NY and WV that among others includes: Chesapeake, Anadarko, Cabot, Exxon-Mobil, Royal Dutch Shell, and National Fuel Gas.
John has over 10 years of combined experience in the distribution natural gas construction field as well as the heavy-civil construction arena. Experience includes design, estimating, management and field operations of Municipal, DOT and Utility projects as well as distribution engineering and design. He is responsible for managing civil site development projects for DDS Constructors, LLC.
